Psiloritis Greek Bakery – Limassol, Cyprus

The inspiration for this bakery are the Greek Islands is strolling round in a Greek island enjoying the sea surrounding you in various bluish tones, the traditional cube like architecture, the natural colors on the island… Having a short break in a traditional bakery to try the tasteful savories and sweets, freshly baked all day long is part of any holiday break in every Greek island!

The concept is to walk into an old building recently renovated to host the new bakery. We used retro style ceramic tiles for the floor and retro like bulbs for the impressive chandelier to give the feeling of the old building. For everything that was supposed to look as additions to the space, we used contemporary materials such as metal and plexiglas. We wanted to create a minimal / fresh / unexpected / elegant / happy space which combines self service for the small savories and the bread and a serving station for the sandwiches, the sweets, freshly brewed coffee and squeezed juice.
